The desert is actually divided in two zones an ocher-red one and a gray one. The first one is way more interesting and beautiful with all those dry canyons and cactuses.
The Tatacoa Desert stands between two mountain ranges in Colombia. Unlike the Death Valley in the USA, this desert is way above the sea level and vegetation still grows here.
That little guy was hanging in the trees next to our dorm. He never answered me but he did to Karen! They where like talking all day long! Feeling kinda jealous here...

Those white mussels are growing on a loose log on the beach! How could that even be possible? With the tides and everything?

To cross the main river at the El Valle village, people built a cute small version of the bridge from San Francisco! Quite funny to see haha
