The old town of Quito looks rather nice with its colonial style. It isn't as pretty as Cartagena in Colombia but the feeling here is much more relaxed and pleasant.

This basilic church is located not even an hour away from the border with Ecuador in southern Colombia. It looks impressive with the river passing by. Quick note, it has been constructed in 1949! Pretty new for a church!

Every Tuesday at the Loma de la Cruz park in Cali indigenous people gather and make the people dance with them in order to raise some funds for their community. The dance moves are pretty easy but very sporty too! You gonna sweat baby!

View from our hostel. In Popayan, the week after the Holy Week they kept doing processions (like if they did not have enough already) but that time only for kids. It's maybe hard to see on this picture, but only kids are doing the procession. Kinda cute.

There are about 7 churches in Popayan and all busy with mess every day, multiple times a day! The faith of the people in that city is incredible!

We arrived in Popayan the week after the Holy Week, aka the Semana Santa. The city was empty and relaxed with all the tourists gone, we had the town just for us! yeah!
