At more than 4000 meters above sea level those geysers produce a lot of steam, and early in the morning when the sun rises, it is just stunning! But so cold... sooooo cold I couldn't stay outside more than few minutes!

I like to imagine what those llamas have in mind when they see us. Like "Hey you, do you have food?" or the one in the background being all like "Mate, don't get too close to my girl..." (he might be jealous!)

... so is that lake! Due to some minerals and other natural effects this lake at 4270m is colored. The water itself is actually red!

As you can see that I had the chance to observe hundreds of flamingos, these ones are called 'Flamingo Andino'.

I obviously do not recall the name of that green stuff, but jesus I was surprised by its texture. It feels like a rock and is as hard as one! Plus frozen due to the cold at more than 4000 meters above sea level!

Árbol de Piedra is an isolated rock formation and somehow a very touristic attraction. I don't understand why, it is just a rock.

Those cactus used to be the main source of wood in the region until they got protected by law. Why? Because they only grow 1cm per year. The one on that picture was HUGE; so maybe around 500 years old!?
