We killed it! My friend Rick and I reached the lake in 2h10m instead of the usual 3h30m. It was pretty hard in the end, but we kept pushing ourselves till the end! Worth it right?
This is the lake 68, the one before the lake 69 which was our goal. To be honest, this one was much more beautiful with more colors and better surroundings.
This was one of the most beautiful hikes I have ever done. We were surrounded by amazing waterfalls, gorgeous mountains and glaciers.
Saw that cow chilling around during the hike. Couldn't help but think about the Milka chocolate haha!
The lake of Chinancocha is situated in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru. We arrived there after 2 hours of bus on our way to the Lake 69 Hike.
This photo has been taken from a moving bus... and I find it pretty awesome with the blur effect and everything!
The city of Huaraz sits at 3052 meters above sea level. It isn't especially nice but its surroundings are impressive! One can see moutains and glaciers all around!
This is the surf spot of Huanchaco. Rather hard to see on that picture, but all surfers in the water are using longboards. They were training for an international competition coming up the next weekend.
