Floating Islands
Uros Islands, Lake Titicaca, PeruA community of people build and live on floating islands. They mainly eat the fishes living underneath them. The sad thing is that it became so touristic that the number of islands actually increased a lot over the last 15 years... just to show the tourists around.

Taquile Island, Lake Titicaca, PeruThis lake is one of the biggest in South America and the world’s highest navigable one by boat as 3812 meters above sea level. Apparently in the water live giant frogs that can be half a meter big!! That's no frog, that's a monster !

Beautiful Arequipa
Basilica Cathedral of Arequipa, PeruArequipa is also called the white city of Peru. Like Cuenca in Ecuador or Popayan in Colombia this city has a wonderful colonial style where all houses are painted in white. Obviously there is tons of churches and religious buildings around btu it does give a certain ccharm to the place.
