On that picture one can clearly see how narrow was the death road. It actually wasn't a road but more dirt track on a cliff; and now try to imagine two trucks trying to cross at the same time...

And I'm already biking down the death road! That picture has been taken on the new road that has been recently built; why? Well because there was way too many deadly accidents on the old road that the gouvernement decided to close it.

In order to get even more touristy, they build those luxury boats that they call the Mercedes-Benz and drive the tourists around for 15 minutes... I did not get in, no way.

A community of people build and live on floating islands. They mainly eat the fishes living underneath them. The sad thing is that it became so touristic that the number of islands actually increased a lot over the last 15 years... just to show the tourists around.

This lake is one of the biggest in South America and the world’s highest navigable one by boat as 3812 meters above sea level. Apparently in the water live giant frogs that can be half a meter big!! That's no frog, that's a monster !

Arequipa is also called the white city of Peru. Like Cuenca in Ecuador or Popayan in Colombia this city has a wonderful colonial style where all houses are painted in white. Obviously there is tons of churches and religious buildings around btu it does give a certain ccharm to the place.

From the outside this monastery reminds of Morocco with its simple but colorful redish external walls while inside it is even more colorful and decorated!
